Last home meet! Seniors night... see pictures!
February 01, 2006:
Yeah! way to go! For the second year in a row the Aviators boys
won the GWOC West title! The women placed third! Congratulations
to all of you!
Great performance by Chris Ralston, the only diver representing the high
school. Chris was named
1st. Team
All-Conference.
Greg Craig was also
named 1st. Team All-Conference for Backstroke. The girl's
200 Free Relay Team, Elena Wenger, Kelly Oldies, Robin Lewis and
Melissa Greschl, were named 1st Team All-Conference.
CONGRATULATIONS!

This Saturday will be our last home meet. We still have 5 open

NEWS FROM COACH BERGMAN:

FRIDAY: Team dinner - sponsored by Evan Wright. See Evan for directions. We will eat around 6:15. The event will end between 9:30 and 10'ish. Plan on attending. JACKETS FOR GWOC: I am requiring that ALL Butler athletes wear our purple warm-up jackets to the league meet on Saturday. We will look like a unified team when entering Trotwood-Madison. This goes for Sunday's finals as well. You do not have to wear the pants, but you must wear the jacket. There are no exceptions to this policy. If you never received a jacket for some reason, see me immediately. SATURDAY: Not all are able to participate in the league meet. We just have too many athletes. I am not forcing non-participants to attend, but I would really like it if you could. This shows camaraderie and team unity. The bus is leaving from the SAC for Trotwood at 11am sharp. Warm-ups are at noon and we have first warm-ups. The meet begins at 1pm. It should conclude around 4:30, and we should be back by 5:30. Chris Ralston will be diving at 8am. If you would like to go early and see him dive, I need a note from your parents, but you will have to ride the bus back from the meet. SUNDAY: GWOC finals: The bus is leaving at noon for Washington Township Rec Center. Warm-ups are at 1pm with the meet starting at 2:30. It should conclude by 6pm and we should be home by 7. T-SHIRTS and SWEATPANTS: If you ordered a boys team shirt, you need to get $6 to me ASAP. If you ordered sweatpants (boys & girls), you need to get $19 to me ASAP. These items will be in on Friday (we hope). You must pay before you receive them. Checks for these items may be made out to Butler Athletic Department. Girls order forms and payment need go to Melissa Greschl ASAP. Butler Swimming sweatshirts and payment need to go to Zack or Josh Bruggeman ASAP. The order forms show for whom the check(s) should be made out for these items. See Melissa if you have not received order forms for girls items and myself if you need an order form for team sweatshirts. |

Chris Ralston is the only Diver representing VB. Chris placed 7th
out of 15 during the Southwest Classic.

was a great meet at Sidney! The guys came first and the ladies
came third. All the swimmers gave their best! All of you
came out of the pool without a breath. Keep it up!

Congratulations
to all the swimmers who participated in the last home meet! We
had MANY first and second places. Make sure to see all the new
pictures. The boys won and the girls tried hard but did not
win.
CREATIVE
MINDS NEEDED to supply captions for the newest pictures! Send
an email with the picture number and your suggestions!

is taking orders for sweatshirts. See picture below.
The sweatshirts are $25
(hooded). Names can be added to back or hood for $5.
Sweatshirts xxl or larger are $30. She will provide pricing for
non-hooded sweatshirts soon. She can get black, purple, white,
or gold, and change up on layout of lettering. Anyone who would like
to order one can send an e-mail to
sbruggem@woh.rr.com.

December 21, 2005:
The
Boys 200 Medley Relay team broke a new High School Record during our
last meet! It took 7 years to get a new time for this event!
Congratulations to Greg Craig (Back), Kenny Stiles (Breast), Zack
Bruggeman (Fly), and Evan Wright (Free). The official time was 1:48.93!
Every
single swimmer tried hard during the last home meet... but it was not
The Aviator's turn to win. The girls placed third and the boys
placed second.
The
meet was well attended by family and friends! - Pictures have been
updated.
December 19, 2005:
The
Aviators had a great meet! The boys team won the Bellbrook invitational
and the girls placed second! Congratulations to every swimmer that
participated on the meet! - New pictures updated.

December 13, 2005:
Official
RESULTS for Saturdays meet: The boys
won 110-57 and the girls won 99-69.
Congratulations! It would
be appreciated if anybody can send pictures! In the mean time we have
posted only two pics related to "Butler vs. Troy"!
Next
Saturday we have an away meet. 4 schools will be competing. Make
sure to be at the HS by 4:00 pm.
#1 FAN T-Shirts are still available.
Please send and email if you want to buy one. The cost is $10.00
each ($7.00 cost & $3.00 for the team) This could be a nice Christmas
present for grandparents, family members or friends!

CONGRATULATIONS!
40 athletes represented the Aviators! The Girls tied for 5th
place out of 20 and the Boys came also on 5th out of 17 positions.
Many Aviators were on the top 16! We had two 1st. places! Greg
Craig had a time of 1:53.95 on the 200 Freestyle and Zach Bruggeman with
a time of 1:05.02 on the IM - Great Job! - Don't forget to check

MASON
MEET! -
The bus is leaving on SATURDAY, December 3, at 6:15 am sharp
from the SAC south parking lot. Have a good breakfast, bring
an extra water bottle, and money for food! It'll be a long day, Coach
Bergman says the team will eat at the restaurant. Bring stuff to keep
yourself occupied and loose until you swim.

to check the results also.
PICTURE DAY! - Easterling
Studios will be at the Rec. Center Friday, December 2 for team and
individual pictures. Don't forget to bring your envelopes for ordering.

Team is also responsible for selling 50/50 raffle tickets.
Volunteers needed! Parents, siblings, and friends can help out TIMING,
SCORING, or being RUNNERS. This year the team will have a Concession
Stand to raise money for pool rental and volunteers will be needed. Food
and drink donations will be appreciated!
